Ruinas da Lagoinha
Those arriving at Praia da Lagoinha by the Rio Santos in the Caraguá-Ubatuba direction will notice a sign at the end of the beach, indicating the Lagoinha Ruins. Turn left, take a road and about 500 meters we will be in one of the many attractions of Ubatuba. There was the Fazenda Bom Retiro, which in the mid-seventeenth century had an extensive coffee culture, production of sugar cane brandy and brown sugar. It is speculated that at the time the farm used slave labor. It is a place where you can breathe the colonial history of the country, and with a little effort of imagination you can travel to times past and imagine factories and slaves in the daily deal. Huge stone walls, remains of a water wheel and an immense 16-meter-wide granite stone make up this fantastic setting.
