Praia do Camburi
Praia do Camburi is at the northern end of Ubatuba, almost on the border with Paraty, RJ. The beach is part of the Núcleo Picinguaba, State Park of Serra do Mar - 47,000 ha are protected approximately 80% of the municipality. Patrimony of humanity recognized by UNESCO is the only point on the coast of São Paulo where coastal ecosystems such as beaches, mangroves, rocky shores and restinga forest are protected. Access is by dirt road in rather adverse conditions, which passes inside an old coffee farm. It is a fishing village, a traditional community. Of clear sands, it is ideal for bathing and in some times good for surfing. In Camburi we find a camping, houses for seasonal rentals and rustic bars.
