Praia das Bicas
Located on the same sand strip of Fazenda Beach, Praia das Bicas is separated by the Fazenda and Picinguaba Rivers bar. It is a small strip of beaten sand following the bank of the river, with a rocky coastline on the left. It has a freshwater spout that gives its name to the beach. Praia das Bicas is located in the protection area of the Serra do Mar State Park. There are 47,000 protected hectares, approximately 80% of the municipality of Ubatuba. Patrimony of humanity recognized by UNESCO is the only point on the coast of São Paulo where coastal ecosystems such as beaches, mangroves, rocky shores and restinga forest are protected.
