Praia Brava do Frade
The secluded beach is surrounded by Atlantic Forest and overlooks Ilhabela. The sand is fine and soft, the sea quite agitated. Very sought after by surfers. There is a camping site on site, but access is only by trail, so if you go to the camping site you must bring insect repellent, water and groceries. It is located within an area recognized as the first Quilombo of the North Coast that stretches from Lagoa beach to Pulso beach. The region is surrounded by historic trails with a wild beauty.
