Cachoeira da Água Branca
The waterfall of Água Branca, the largest in Ubatuba, and one of the largest falls in Brazil (*) with about 180 meters in height, provides a magnificent spectacle amidst the exuberance of the Atlantic Forest. It is a wedding veil-shaped waterfall, with several successive falls, although it does not normally have such a large volume of water. It is located within the domains of the Serra do Mar State Park (PESM), and its access is only by trail, of high difficulty. The route to the waterfall should only be carried out with the presence of professional and accredited monitors, mainly so as not to get lost among the various tracks in the place.
